Is EkamQR “biometric-free”?
No. Face verification is itself a biometric method. The difference is that EkamQR reduces dependency on dedicated fingerprint attendance terminals by using a software-first QR + face workflow on supported camera devices.
Does EkamQR require zero hardware?
No. A supported camera-capable device and connectivity are still required. The aim is to reduce specialized attendance-machine dependency, not to claim that physical hardware disappears completely.
Can a copied QR alone create attendance?
The intended QR + Face flow does not trust the QR alone. It can validate session state and expiry, location context, face verification and liveness-related signals before recording attendance.
Can we use EkamQR at multiple locations?
Yes. The product is designed around managed organization locations and employee location assignments, making it suitable for multi-location attendance workflows.
